SHIPPING
New Zealand Shipping
We offer complimentary express shipping within New Zealand via Courier Post, once your order is complete.
Once your order is ready to be shipped, we will be in touch with your shipping information.
As jewellery is a high value item, we only offer signature required shipping. Please make sure you will be available to sign for your package on the day of scheduled delivery.
If your delivery address is in city or metro area, please allow 1-4 business days for delivery. For all other regions including rural delivery, this can take from 3-7 business days and may be carried out by a third-party courier.
International Shipping (Outside of New Zealand)
We provide express shipping internationally for an additional charge. Import and tax duties will be calculated at customs when the package arrives at the destination country. If you would like to know the cost of shipping to your location prior to making a purchase, please contact us here.
DUTIES AND IMPORT TAXES
Import duties and taxes may be relevant to international shipments outside of New Zealand. Once your order arrives to your destination country, you will be liable for the duties and taxes that may be incurred to release the parcel. Duties and taxes are respective to your order value and destination country.
Aurea will not process a refund if you refuse to pay the relevant duties and taxes for your order. If your parcel is returned as a result of unpaid duties and taxes, payment for the redelivery of the item is at the customer’s discretion.
PACKAGING
We package all of our pieces in Aurea boxes with important care information and details about your item. We use plain outer boxes for delivery to avoid drawing attention to the package when shipping or receiving the piece.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Made To Order
Once you have approved your Made to Order design, the purchase is final. Aurea does not issue refunds, store credit, or exchanges for Bespoke Engagement rings, Weddings Bands or Fine Jewellery. As these pieces are made especially for you, we kindly ask that you make your decision with care. We will be happy to assist in any questions you have about our pieces.
Customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you aren’t happy with your finished piece, please contact us and we will work together to resolve the issue.
Ready To Wear
Unless otherwise stated, unworn ready-to-wear pieces may be exchanged within 14 days of receiving the item(s) for a store credit. We do not accept exchanges outside of this specified timeframe.
A store credit will be issued to the email address provided and can be used towards an Aurea purchase of equal or more value within 6 months of credit issue date.
Aurea customers will be responsible for any return shipping fees. We recommend shipping return orders via a trusted and trackable service as Aurea is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen parcels.
If your ring has been resized, we are unable to process an exchange as items must be in their original condition, unworn and with original packaging. We reserve the right to reject an exchange if we believe that it is not in new condition.
FAULTS AND WARRANTY
Every design Aurea produces is carefully crafted with love with structural integrity using only the best quality materials. As we create all our pieces to last, all Aurea engagement rings and wedding bands come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty from the date of completion.
The limited lifetime warranty covers the piece under normal wear. If there is a manufacturing fault, Aurea will repair the issue free of charge. If the piece has been noticeably bent, damaged or shows signs of improper care upon inspection, Aurea will repair the piece at a cost.
Worn-out stone settings and claws from many years of wearing is not considered to be covered under the warranty.
Lost, damaged or chipped diamonds or gemstones are not covered under the warranty, we strongly recommend insuring your jewellery with your insurance provider to cover this expense. This will also cover anything outside of your control, like theft.
The warranty is void if you take your pieces to another jeweller for resizing or repair work. Aurea does not take responsibility for work carried out by other jewellers.
SERVICING
Aurea offers complimentary servicing. As part of this service, your ring will be given a thorough inspection, clean, polish, and tightening of stones (if required).
If your ring is crafted in white gold, it may require Rhodium plating. This can be added to your service for an additional charge as re-plating is not covered in our warranty.
